An unforgettable journey through one of Turkey’s most magical landscapes, where ancient valleys, surreal rock formations, and sky-full of balloons greet you at every turn. This 5-day itinerary blends adventure, culture, and breathtaking scenery around Göreme and the wider Cappadocia region.
Upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, you’ll be greeted by your driver and transferred to your riad.
After checking into your riad, enjoy some free time to visit the Yves Saint Laurent Museum and the Jardin Majorelle, the vibrant garden restored by the designer, or take a leisurely stroll through Marrakech’s lively streets, soaking in the colors, sounds, and energy of the Red City.
An early start this morning for a once-in-a-lifetime hot air balloon flight over Cappadocia (weather permitting). As the sun rises, the valleys and fairy chimneys glow in soft hues, creating one of the most iconic landscapes in the world.
After enjoying some time to rest, you visit the Göreme Open-Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where rock-cut churches and frescoes offer insight into the region’s early Christian history.
In the afternoon, experience an exhilarating quad bike ride through Rose Valley, riding among soft pink-hued rock formations and dramatic scenery. Return to Göreme in the early evening, with time to relax and enjoy dinner at your leisure.
Today you explore the highlights of Northern Cappadocia on a guided tour. The day includes visits to the region’s famous open-air museums and dramatic rock formations, with time to wander through Zelve Open-Air Museum and admire the iconic Fairy Chimneys. You continue to the riverside town of Avanos for lunch and a visit to a traditional pottery workshop, before enjoying scenic drives through the valleys and stopping at panoramic viewpoints, including Uçhisar Castle, for unforgettable photo opportunities. You return to your hotel in the afternoon, with free time for the rest of the day.
Today’s full-day excursion takes you through Southern Cappadocia, revealing a different side of the region’s natural and cultural heritage. You visit the remarkable Kaymaklı Underground City, once used as a refuge by ancient communities, before walking through the lush Ihlara Valley along the Melendiz River. After lunch in a local village, you continue to the impressive rock-cut Selime Monastery, followed by scenic stops at valleys and viewpoints across the region. You return to Göreme in the late afternoon, with free time in the evening
